Van Halen Brothers’ Last Song to Debut in Alex’s Heartfelt Memoir

Alex Van Halen, the drummer of the famous rock band Van Halen, is releasing a memoir called Brothers. This book will include something very special for fans: the last song he wrote with his brother Eddie.
The song is called Unfinished and will play during the audiobook version of the memoir. This book tells the story of Alex and Eddie’s life together.
Relationship
Guitar Player writes that Alex said about his relationship with Eddie: “We shared the experience of coming to this country and figuring out how to fit in. We shared a record player, an 800-square-foot house, a mom and dad, and a work ethic.”
He added, “We shared a depth of understanding that most people can only hope to achieve in a lifetime.”
Early years
The book talks about their early years in the Netherlands, moving to California, and starting their band. It also promises to talk about ‘musical politics, infighting, and bad boy behavior’ in the band.
The memoir comes after Eddie passed away in 2020. Alex says this book is ‘nothing like any rock-and-roll memoir you’ve ever read’.
Fans can pre-order the book now. It will be available as an audiobook, e-book, and physical book.
