Rock Legend Dave Navarro Ties the Knot in Scottish Fairytale Wedding
Jane’s Addiction guitarist Dave Navarro has married his longtime girlfriend Vanessa DuBasso in a magical ceremony at a Scottish estate.
The famous rock musician and his partner of eight years exchanged vows during a multi-day celebration at Dunskey Estate in Stranraer, Scotland, as People writes in their exclusive coverage of the event.
Like stepping into a fairytale
“It exudes a moody, ethereal charm,” said DuBasso of the location. “Surrounded by a towering forest, a serene lake and the ruins of a castle along the shoreline, it felt like stepping into a fairytale.”
Navarro shared similar feelings about their special day: “We wanted our wedding to feel like a dream. It was important to us to find a place that felt unlike anywhere we had ever been, a place that embraced nature and transported us to another world.”
Unique elements
The couple’s wedding featured unique elements including a forest ceremony, dancing in the castle’s dungeon, and a beach bonfire with their guests.
The couple’s relationship began when Navarro, who also played with Red Hot Chili Peppers in the 1990s, contacted the director of a film DuBasso was in to ask her out. This marks Navarro’s fourth marriage.
While it’s unclear if his Jane’s Addiction bandmates attended the celebration, comedian Pete Davidson was among the wedding guests.
