Queen guitarist Brian May is angry at a group called the Countryside Alliance. They don’t like his new TV show about badgers and farmers.

May spent four years making this show. It’s about a disease that can make cows very sick. The Countryside Alliance says May’s views are not fair and the BBC shouldn’t show the program.

Hardly surprising
Classic Rock Magazine writes that May responded on Instagram, saying: “Hardly surprising that the Countryside Alliance want to stop you seeing our documentary – the result of 12 years research into how the disease of bovine TB is actually transmitted. The CA’s remit, of course, is to try to ensure that blood sports continue, and they represent hunters and shooters.”

May also said the show is fair and honest. He explained that most of the program shows farmers talking about their problems.

The TV show, called Brian May: The Badgers, The Farmers And Me, will be on BBC Two on August 23 at 9pm.
