Richie Sambora, the former guitarist of Bon Jovi, has expressed his willingness to rejoin the band, with one important condition. In an interview on The Allison Hagendorf Show, Sambora stated that he would return to Bon Jovi if frontman Jon Bon Jovi recovers from his recent vocal cord surgery.

“If he gets [his voice] back, I’ll go play. I got songs. I swear to God”, Sambora declared, emphasizing the potential positive impact their reunion could have on fans.

Abrupt departure
Sambora, who left Bon Jovi in 2013, also appeared in the Hulu docuseries Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story, where he apologized for his abrupt departure from the band.

However, he shared his disagreements with certain aspects of the series, which he felt didn’t fully represent the band’s history as he saw it.

Criticisms
Despite his criticisms of the documentary’s length and content, Sambora recognized it as a platform for introducing new music that’s relevant to his extensive experience in the industry. He remains hopeful for the future, saying, “The world needs it… We need hope.”
