Oasis Shocks Fans with 2025 Reunion Tour: Brothers Put Aside 15-Year Feud
The famous British rock band Oasis has surprised everyone by announcing a big comeback tour for 2025. This is big news because the band broke up 15 years ago after the brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher had a big fight.
The band said in a statement: “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.”
Many shows
PEOPLE writes that Oasis will start their tour on July 4, 2025, in Cardiff, Wales. They will play many shows in the UK and Ireland, including four concerts in their hometown of Manchester.
The tour is called Oasis Live ’25 and it’s the first time the band will play together in the UK and Ireland in 16 years.
30th anniversary
Oasis also said they will release a special 30th anniversary version of their famous album Definitely Maybe on August 30 this year.
Tickets for the tour will go on sale on August 31, 2024. The band hinted that they might play in other countries too, but haven’t announced those dates yet.
This reunion is a big surprise because the Gallagher brothers had been fighting for years.
