BGO Records is re-releasing three important albums by blues legend Freddie King. These albums from the early 1970s, Getting Ready…, Texas Cannonbal, and Woman Across The River, have been digitally improved and come with new information about the music.

The albums were first made with producer Leon Russell and helped King, who passed away in 1976, aged 42, become known to more listeners. The album Woman Across The River was especially successful, making it onto the US Top 200 Albums chart.

Original performances
Freddie King’s style mixed blues with rock. The updated albums are made to sound just like King’s original performances. They also come with new liner notes that detail King’s life and work.

These special versions of Getting Ready…, Texas Cannonball, and Woman Across The River can be bought from BGO Records.
